The radical left has continued their assault on American sensibilities with an unheard campaign to normalize the assassination of President Donald J. Trump.
Even before Trump secured the presidency, there were attempts on his life. At one of his earlier campaign rallies, a young man was arrested after wrestling with a police officer in an attempt to secure the officer’s firearm and take aim at then-candidate Trump. Now, as we move into the 6th month of the The Donald’s first term, liberal celebrities and actors are taking it upon themselves to make these heinous sentiments seem commonplace.
Kathy Griffin’s despicable publicity stunt comes to mind, in which the D-list actress and former CNN employee produced a series of photographs in which she was seen to be holding a lifelike facsimile of Donald Trump’s severed head, meaning to emulate an ISIS-style beheading of the President. Liberals mostly applauded or ignored the gesture by Griffin, proving once again that the idea of murdering the leader of the free world is a flippant affair for many radical leftists.
Now, as a “Shakespeare In The Park” performance of Julius Caesar in New York City has relegated the role of the titular, assassinated leader to a Donald Trump-like character, decent Americans everywhere have expressed their outrage and disgust at the misappropriation of the Presidential entity. For the second time in a week, the play was interrupted by protesters who rightly took offense to the violent and suggestive propaganda.
“Police say 26-year-old Javanni Valle, of Brooklyn, and 28-year-old Salvatore Cipolla, of Oceanside, Long Island, were arrested on trespassing and disorderly conduct charges Sunday evening during the Public Theater production’s last performance in Central Park.“Information on their lawyers wasn’t available. The two were given desk appearance tickets.“Apparent video of the incident shows a man rushing the stage shouting ‘Liberal hate kills!’ and ‘Goebbels will be proud!’ before he is grappled by security and pulled away.”
The play, which depicts a graphic and violent end to the Trump character, has been decried by many as not only insensitive, but as a battlecry for radical leftists looking to begin their New Civil War against American conservatives.
Between Kathy Griffin’s gruesome display, and the widespread notoriety of this uncouth interpretation of Julius Caesar, American terrorists such as James T. Hodgkinson have drawn inspiration for their own deplorable actions.
Hodgkinson, who opened fire on GOP congressmen practicing for a charity baseball game, was active in social media circles that were calling on their followers to “destroy” Trump and hunt republicans. The radical leftist, likely emboldened by Griffin and the assassination play in New York City, died in custody after being incapacitated by Capitol Police.
