I oppose the tearing down of Christopher Columbus across this country.
First, we tore down the Confederate statues and flag now we want to tear down Christopher Columbus statues and rename Columbus Day to Native American day.
For what?... This is just playing into the identity politics campaign that been raging for the last few years.
We hear people ranting about what the conquistadores did to the natives and how whites enslaved the blacks.
Today's youth, never experienced the Jim Crow era. You cannot compare a few fake Nazis and White supremacists to the violence and terror of the past. Ironically, they are resurrecting that very violence and hatred. Trying to paint USA today, as a racist country is inaccurate, when we have the most interracial and inclusive society in the world. This is a desperate political pretense for tipping back the balance of power.
The truth is that's what we come from. We are the product of that hoas and all those horrible things. Most African Americans have white, Asian, or Native American blood. Latinos are also a mix of all those races. We are the result of that collision.
It's curious to see so many mixed race people angry at whites when they are obviously part white. Even more pathetic are the white guilt people who will rant about white privilege.
If that history had not occurred, we wouldn’t exist. Because we are all those things we are stronger.
What is the point? To try to erase these things like they never happened? Are we going to keep it a secret from our children?
We must face our past and accept it. It is what it is.
There are powerful people who are trying to rekindle those evil forces and even start a civil war.
It's time to stop being useful idiots for people that need to have a revolution so they can seize power.
We need to come together. All we need is love.
