Breaking News

The Signal 30 Benefit Fund is proud to announce that for the fifth year in a row we have raised over $1,000,000. We are on target to raise $1,600,000 for 2018 for our Troopers and their families. Our continued fundraising success would not be possible without the generous support provided by you, our Directors and Trustees, so thanks again for all you do. Specifically, our fundraising events raised approximately $643,200, with the remainder of the money coming from online donations, funds designated for Troopers, Director and Trustee contributions, 3rd party events and Troopers designating donations to the Signal 30 Benefit Fund through their paychecks. With your help, we look forward to an even bigger and better year in 2019!!!!

2018 Year in Review

In 2018, we proudly assisted NYS Troopers and their families in need by providing funds for medical treatments not covered by medical insurance, travel expenses to seek medical treatment away from their homes, and other expenses that arose due to many unforeseen circumstances.
During the past year, the Signal 30 Benefit Fund assisted Troopers and their families with emergency bills amounting to $297,051. The reasons for these grants were family illnesses, medical procedures not covered by insurance and loss of property. The Signal 30 Fund has participated in various fundraising events over the course of the year totaling $182,978 in donations to other charities to assist our fellow law enforcement agencies.
Another important goal of the Signal 30 Fund is to provide support to the families of Troopers who have died either on duty or off duty. In furtherance of this goal, we paid $46,733 to the families of our members who passed away in 2018 to assist with funeral and burial costs.
In total the Signal 30 Benefit Fund distributed $526,762 to date during the 2018 calendar year.
